  • Policies: configureAgeRestrictionPolicy per store and restricted type (alcohol, tobacco, lottery, otc_medicine, other). "Policy does not allow manager override", "Policy dates must be ISO timestamps".
  • ID checks: verifyRestrictedSaleAge on an open cart stores the outcome, method, age at verification (0 to 120), and a document fingerprint as an AgeVerification. The verifier must be an active employee assigned to the store.
  • Incidents: transitionComplianceIncident: open, investigating, resolved, reported, closed.

Restricted products never appear on the public storefront.
