Inventory

/dashboard/platform/inventory has All, Low, and Out tabs. /inventory/[id] opens one item.

Inventory items

InventoryItem: name, category (coffee, milk, syrup, tea, bakery, retail, packaging), unit (each, lb, oz, g, gal, l), currentStock, reorderPoint, parLevel, costPerUnit, supplierName, sku. Create and edit with createCoffeeInventoryItem and updateCoffeeInventoryItem. Low stock means at or below the reorder point.

The unit cannot change once an item has stock, lots, purchase orders, or recipe ingredients. Create a new item instead.

Lots

InventoryLot: lotNumber, quantityReceived, quantityRemaining, unitCostCents, receivedAt, expiresAt, status (active, consumed, expired, quarantined). Expired or quarantined lots cannot be sold or prepared: "Insufficient eligible stock: expired or quarantined lots cannot be sold or prepared".

Movements

Every change writes a StockMovement: received, sale, return, waste, adjustment, transfer. The item page shows the ledger, lots, waste, and purchase orders.

Purchase orders

Create and receive purchase orders on Coffee operations. Cancel one from the item page with cancelCoffeePurchaseOrder. A PO has one item. Status: draft, submitted, received, cancelled.
