Memberships and packages

/dashboard/platform/benefits needs canManageCatalog or canManageClients.

Plans

• Membership: name, description, monthlyPrice, discountPercent (0 to 100), isActive, and includedServices
• ServicePackage: name, description, totalPrice, savingsAmount, validDays (0 to 3650), isActive, and services

Create and edit plans with the plan form on the page (generated CRUD).

Sell to a client

Use the sell form: client, plan, and "Paid by". It calls sellClientBenefit with kind (membership or package), planId, clientUserId, paymentMethod, and an idempotency key.

• A membership creates a ClientMembership starting today with nextBillingDate. A client cannot hold the same membership twice.
• A package creates a ClientPackage with totalValue, paidAmount, usedValue, and expiresAt from validDays.

Manage status

setClientBenefitStatus:

• Memberships: active, paused (needs a pausedUntil date), cancelled. A cancelled membership cannot be reactivated.
• Packages: only an active package can be cancelled.

Use at checkout

Checkout applies the member discount to included services and draws down package value. redeemClientPackage records usage against an appointment and service with valueUsed. Returned sales can restore package value with restorePackageCents.

Statuses of a package: active, expired, fully-used, cancelled.
