Entries

A WaitlistEntry has a client or guest name and phone, a service, preferredStylists, preferredDays, preferredTimeRange (morning 9am to 12pm, afternoon 12pm to 5pm, evening 5pm to 8pm, or anytime), a date range, notes, and a status: active, notified, converted, or removed.

Add an entry

Staff call joinWaitlist with a service, optional stylists, preferences, and an idempotency key. Signed-in clients on the storefront call joinWaitlistAsClient when /book shows no open times for a day. The date range cannot end before it starts or run more than a year ahead.

Work the queue

transitionWaitlistEntry takes an action:

ActionResult
notifyactive to notified
removeto removed
reactivateremoved or notified back to active
convertto converted; needs the appointmentId you booked

A converted entry cannot change again. The appointment must match the entry's client and service.
