Catalog

Create and edit kit products, set pricing and visibility, and browse component files.

Products

/dashboard/platform/catalog lists KitProduct records alongside their latest stable release. /dashboard/platform/catalog/new creates one (createUIKitProduct). /dashboard/platform/catalog/[id] edits it (updateUIKitProduct).

New product tabs

TabFields
BasicsName, Slug, Registry code, Entitlement key, Registry type, Design system, Description, Tagline, Audience, Preview title, eyebrow, description, Dependencies (one per line), Install command, Preview image path
AccessAccess type (free or paid), Price in minor units, Currency (default usd), License name, Seats, Usage
ReleaseSort order, Active, Visible. These flags do not publish source; the catalog still needs a stable release

Paid products require a price of at least 1. Free products are stored with price 0. slug is the storefront path, code is the registry name used by shadcn add and the CLI, and kitKey is the stable lowercase entitlement identity.

Editor tabs

The product editor has Basics, Preview, Files, and License tabs. The Files tab creates a release draft from JSON source files (createComponentDraft). A public-preview check shows whether the product appears in the public catalog (publicCatalog).

Visibility

A product shows in the storefront only when isActive and isVisible are both on and it has a stable release. The public catalog returns at most 24 items.

Components

/dashboard/platform/components browses component files, package exports (PackageExport), and usage examples (UsageExample) across releases.

Create a product

Open Products and choose New

Fill Basics: name, slug, code, entitlement key, and registry type.

Set access

Pick free or paid. For paid, enter the price in minor units (for example 4900 for 49.00) and the currency.

Add license terms

Enter license name, seats, and usage. These are snapshotted into each release when it is reviewed.

Add source and publish

Create a draft, validate it, and publish. See Publish a release.
