Install a component

Pull a free or purchased component into a project with the Openfront CLI.

Set the registry and key

export OPENFRONT_REGISTRY_URL=https://your-domain and export OPENFRONT_TOKEN=ofui_.... Free items work without a key; paid items need one from an account that owns them.

Find the item

openfront-ui search button or openfront-ui list. openfront-ui view <code> shows files and dependencies.

Preview

openfront-ui add <code> --dry-run prints the files it would write.

Add

openfront-ui add <code> --out ./my-app. Files are written to their target paths after SHA-256 verification.

Install dependencies

The CLI prints a package-manager plan and does not run it. Run it yourself.

Update later

openfront-ui update <code> --diff compares your files with the latest stable release. Add --yes to overwrite changed files.

A 402 response means the signed-in account has not purchased the item; the response includes the checkout URL.
