Network
Register airports, create routes, and author flight schedules at /dashboard/platform/network.
The Network desk has three tabs: airports, routes, and schedules. Everything a dated flight needs comes from here.
Airports
Airport is shared reference data used by every carrier. Register one with registerAirport.
Open the Airports tab
Go to /dashboard/platform/network and choose Airports.
Enter the airport
Give the three-letter IATA code, optional four-letter ICAO code, name, city, two-letter ISO country code, optional subdivision code, and an IANA timezone. Errors you may see: "IATA code must be three letters.", "ICAO code must be four letters.", "Country must be a two-letter ISO code."
Save
The call is idempotent. Submitting the same form again does not create a second airport.
Routes
A Route joins an origin and a destination airport. Fields: origin, destination, status (draft, active, suspended, archived), distanceKilometers, minimumConnectionMinutes, and isInternational.
Create and edit routes on the Routes tab (CreateRoute, UpdateRoute) and change status with SetRouteStatus. Origin and destination must be chosen and must differ.
Schedules
A FlightSchedule is a recurring service on a route.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
flightNumber, serviceSuffix | Carrier designator plus number, such as XY101 |
departureLocalTime, arrivalLocalTime | HH:MM in each airport's local time |
arrivalDayOffset | Between -1 and 2 |
daysOfWeek | At least one day |
effectiveFrom, effectiveTo | Dates; effectiveTo must not be before effectiveFrom |
status | draft, published, suspended, retired |
Create and edit schedules with CreateFlightSchedule and UpdateFlightSchedule. Publish, suspend, or retire with SetScheduleStatus. Only a published schedule can create sellable dated service.
Next step
Fares and products define what is sold. Schedules and flights turn a published schedule into dated flights.
