Approvals

Approval policies and the approval panel.

Budget changes, prime contracts, change orders, progress claims, and retainage releases can require an ApprovalRequest under the project's ApprovalPolicy. Onboarding creates five policies with the administrator role as approver.

  • configureConstructionApprovalPolicy edits a policy.
  • requestConstructionApproval creates a request; the requester assigns another eligible person.
  • decideConstructionApproval approves or rejects. Owners decide from the portal after constructionPortalApprovalSnapshot.
  • constructionApprovalSnapshot feeds the approval panel on financials, contracts, and billing.

Self-approval is rejected: "A different authorized person must decide this approval request". Governance lists: ApprovalPolicy, ApprovalRequest, ApprovalDecision.

Reports

Job cost, exposure, aging, and CSV export.
