Financials and cost structure
Budgets, budget changes, direct costs, budget codes, and locations.
Routes: /projects/[projectId]/financials and /projects/[projectId]/structure under /dashboard/platform. Financials is internal only.
Cost structure
Add project budget codes from the company cost code library and site locations (ProjectLocation).
Budget
addBudgetLine adds a line per budget code. Totals are recalculated, not typed in. Money is an integer in minor units: "Amount must be a non-negative integer in minor units".
Budget changes
Create
createBudgetChangeWithLine. A budget change needs at least one line.
Submit for approval
draft to pending_approval (transitionBudgetChangeStatus). See Approvals.
Post
approved to posted updates the budget.
Direct costs
recordDirectCost posts a cost against a budget code with an active budget line. reversePostedDirectCost reverses it. Job cost and forecast appear in Reports.
