Company setup
Onboard the first company and work through the readiness checklist at /dashboard/platform/setup.
/dashboard/platform/setup runs first-company onboarding (onboardConstructionWorkspace) and shows the readiness checklist (constructionOnboardingReadiness).
Sign in as the first administrator
Create the user at /dashboard/init. It gets the Platform Administrator role.
Pick a path
Custom setup takes company, brand, first project, currency code, cost code, budget code, contact email, service area, capability summary, first service, and privacy notice. Starter workspace loads "Northstar Builders" from features/platform/onboarding/lib/seed.json, and is offered only for first-company setup.
Review what was created
Company, four roles (Company Administrator, Project Manager, Field Lead, External Collaborator), your memberships, the first project, a cost code, a budget code, an active budget with one line, five approval policies, a location, a schedule, an inspection template, and the public site profile with one service.
Clear the checklist
Company profile, role templates, cost codes, project manager access, budget codes, active budget, approval policies, schedule, and site locations. Completion is recorded only after the readiness check passes.
Onboarding needs canManageOnboarding and canManageCompanies and a user with no company membership yet. Repeating a request is idempotent.
