Client portal
Invite clients, grant matter access, and share items.
Route: /dashboard/platform/portal. Needs canManagePortal. Portal clients are PortalAccount records with their own session cookie, separate from storefront users.
Set the policy
recordPortalDiscoveryPolicy sets how clients are matched to matters (portalPolicyWorkspace).
Invite
invitePortalAccount emails an invitation for a valid address. The client opens /portal/accept.
Grant
grantPortalMatterAccess or executePortalGrant gives access to a matter from the versioned directory.
Share
sharePortalResource shares a document, invoice, or thread. Clients see only shared items under an active grant. Drafts and internal notes are not shown.
Revoke
revokePortalGrant removes access.
Clients sign in at /portal/signin with an emailed link. Needs SMTP.
