Time and expenses
/dashboard/platform/time-expenses: a timer and manual time, expenses, review, and pricing. Move entries with transitionTimeEntry and transitionExpense. Billing on a matter needs canBill on its team.
Rate cards
RateCard and RateRule price time by role, matter, or other rules. Manage them on /dashboard/platform/billing.
Invoices
Assemble
assembleDraftInvoice selects approved time and expenses into InvoiceLine rows. Money is minor units.
Issue
transitionInvoice: draft → approved → issued → partially_paid → paid. Also overdue and void.
Pay
recordManualPayment against an open issued invoice, then allocatePayment.
Reverse
reversePaymentAllocation undoes an allocation. An invoice with allocations must be reversed or refunded before voiding.
Refunds
requestRefund → reviewRefund → processing → succeeded or failed. A refund of a trust deposit needs its exact trust disbursement posted.
Retainers
/dashboard/platform/retainers: prepareRetainerAgreement and transitionRetainerAgreement. An active retainer with a trust ledger and deposit amount can fund trust deposits.
