Orders and fulfillment

/dashboard/platform/orders is the order queue (pharmacyOrderQueue). /dashboard/platform/orders/[id] is the order task page (pharmacyOrderTask) with line items, payment, fulfillment, and refund actions.

Order types

fulfillmentMethod is pickup, delivery, or pos. Orders come from storefront checkout (submitPharmacyOrder), the counter (POS), and prescription dispensing.

Order status: pending, review_required, approved, processing, ready, out_for_delivery, completed, cancelled.

Fulfillment

transitionOrderFulfillment(fulfillmentId, status, reason, attested) moves a Fulfillment through:

pending → preparing → ready → out_for_delivery (delivery only) → handed_off

• Only the assigned staff member can record handed_off.
• Handoff needs a captured payment, or a pay-at-pickup payment that is collected at handoff.
• Cancelling a paid order goes through a refund.

Payment actions

The page shows the Payment with its status (pending, authorized, captured, refund_pending, refunded, failed). Card payments refund with refundPharmacyPayment. Cash payments refund with refundPharmacyCashPayment, which returns the exact captured amount and needs the cash returned. Both take a reason and attestation.
