Prescribers
Prescriber directory, NPI, credential evidence, and eRx validation.
/dashboard/platform/prescribers lists prescribers (pharmacyPrescriberDirectory). /dashboard/platform/prescribers/[id] shows their prescriptions, credential state, and edit form.
Fields
name, npi, phone, fax, externalIdentifier, verificationStatus (unverified, pending, validated, rejected), verificationMethod (not_recorded, organization_recorded, external_provider), credentialType, credentialJurisdiction, credentialIdentifier, credentialExpiresAt, validationReference, and validatedAt.
Add and edit
Use the create drawer for a new prescriber (canManagePrescriptions). The credential fields are not editable in the drawer. They are set by a credential review.
Record a credential review
recordPharmacyPrescriberCredentialReview stores the credential type, jurisdiction, identifier, expiry, and verification reference, with a reason and attestation. The expiry must be in the future. A prescriber needs an NPI and a current review before their prescriptions can be approved.
Validate through eRx
When an eRx provider is configured on Integrations, the detail page offers Validate. validatePharmacyPrescriber calls the provider's prescriber path with the NPI and records the result (externalValidationComplete, validatedAt, validationReference).
